Personal Training

Evolve’s personal training packages falls into three categories – one-on-one, semi-private (two-on-one) and small group training (three-on-one).  One-on-one training focuses on the individual - whether it’s weight loss, sport specific, returning from an injury or you just like the personal attention and motivation of private training.

Semi-private training and small group training go hand in hand.  Both offer all the benefits of a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost. Semi-private training is two clients to one trainer – while small group training is three clients to one trainer.  When training with either semi-private or small groups remember you and your training partners don’t have to be on the same fitness level – just have common goals.  Semi-private and small group training offers a great deal of natural motivation for all levels of fitness while learning a broad range of exercises. The most common small groups include friends, relatives, co-workers, teammates and bridal parties.

Fit Camps (Indoor & Outdoor)

Fit Camps are a popular, motivating and one of the most cost effective ways to have a personal trainer. This high energy endurance based training is a great way to ramp up your metabolism and improve your overall strength and function. Each fit camp session offers a variety of exercises that can be easily modified in order to meet each individuals personal fitness level.

Sport Specific Training

Under the watchful eye of owner Doug Schlenk, he can develop a program to train your team and to help create more explosive athletes. Using scientifically based methods with proven outcomes, he can help your team enhance its level of conditioning in all phases, including strength, speed, agility, balance and flexibility.  Each program will be customized on activity demands, time of season and training history.  Proper sports conditioning can prevent injuries, maximize potential and build confidence.

Golf Fitness Training

Golf Fitness training can greatly benefit golfers of any age in the improvement of their skills on the course.  All too often the golfer will neglect the physical components relative to the execution of a biomechanically efficient golf swing.  Rather then develop the physical requirements of the golf swing, the golfer will spend an insurmountable amount of time practicing and money on golf lessons with minimal improvement.

The common thread in such instances is physical limitations in the areas of mobility, flexibility, stability, strength, and power limiting the ability of the golfer to execute a biomechanically efficient golf swing.  The golf fitness evaluation includes a physical screening, video swing analysis and a prescription of exercise.  The evaluation takes approx. 90 minutes and by the end the player will have a better understanding of their physical limitations and how to correct them.  Follow up sessions are a quick check to determine progress and then build upon the player's physical foundation.

Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition Counseling helps people understand the most difficult part in reaching their goals.  Knowing what food choices are right for you and portion control teaches clients about the lifestyle changes needed in order to achieve their goals.  Whether you want to lose weight or gain muscle you need to have a plan. If you don’t have a plan, you have planned to fail.
